On Friday, 17th April 2026, the Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), led by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abubakar Shuaibu Jimeta, alongside the Chief Technical Officer, Engr. Kassim Burkullu, and the Head of Operations & Maintenance, received a delegation from FIXONTIME Company, the official Nigerian partners of NOJA Power—a global leader in advanced distribution automation and Auto-Recloser technology.
The engagement focused on accelerating the deployment of next-generation network automation infrastructure across KEDCO’s distribution network. Key solutions highlighted include Automatic Control Switches (Auto-Reclosers), Fault Detection Indicators, and advanced Termination Kits. These technologies are integral to KEDCO’s modernization strategy and represent a significant step toward building an intelligent, adaptive, and self-restoring power distribution system capable of responding swiftly and effectively to network disturbances.

Additionally, the deployment of high-quality Termination Kits will improve network safety, durability, and reduce technical losses.
